  • Documents: PDF files you upload for document analysis are processed by third-party AI services but are not stored permanently on our servers.
  • Investment Queries: Company names and investment information you search for may be used to fetch company data from third-party sources (OpenCorporates, Wikipedia, Clearbit).

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase for secure data storage and authentication. Financial calculations you perform may be stored locally on your device.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect information:

  • Authentication: Apple and Google for sign-in
  • Payments: Apple In-App Purchase, Stripe, and RevenueCat for subscriptions
  • Analytics: Analytics services to improve our app
  • Advertising: Google AdMob for displaying ads to free users
  • AI Services: OpenAI and Anthropic Claude for AI chat, document analysis, and intelligence features
  • Market Data: Finnhub for stock quotes and financial data
  • News: News API for financial news articles
  • Company Data: Clearbit, OpenCorporates, and Wikipedia for company profiles and information

These third parties have their own privacy policies governing the use of your information.

AI Features & Data Sharing

Important: When you use AI-powered features in Capri Partners, your data is sent to third-party AI services. You will be asked for explicit consent before using these features for the first time.

When you use Capri AI chat, document analysis, or Intelligence features:

  • Your questions, messages, and documents are sent to third-party AI services (OpenAI and/or Anthropic Claude) to generate responses and analysis.
  • We send only your message content, document content, and conversation context — not your name, email, or account information.
  • OpenAI and Anthropic process this data according to their privacy policies and API data usage terms.
  • OpenAI and Anthropic do not use API data to train their models.
  • You will be asked to consent before your first use of AI features.
  • For document analysis, PDF files you upload are processed by Anthropic Claude to extract and analyze information.

AI responses are generated automatically and may contain errors. They are for educational purposes only and should not be relied upon as financial advice.

Advertising

Free users may see advertisements from Google AdMob. These ads may use cookies and similar technologies to serve relevant advertisements. Premium subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience.

You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings. On iOS, you can manage ad tracking preferences through the App Tracking Transparency prompt or in Settings > Privacy > Tracking.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only:

  • With your consent
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To protect our rights and prevent fraud
